Use this interactive database to learn how to speak English (U.S.),
English (U.K.), French, German, Greek, Italian, Russian, Spanish
(Latin America), and Spanish (Spain). The database teaches language
through reading and listening comprehension, voice-record/speech
recognition, and dictation and spelling exercises.
This database can be accessed from the Library or home with your
Library barcode number. The first time you use the database, you
will be asked to create a username and password.

UPCOMING :
PHASE TWO of Library Improvement unfolds like a fast paced plot:
between now and December 1, 2007 we will be re-carpeting and
refurnishing a large portion of the Main Level of the Library. Patrons
may be temporarily redirected to computers or furniture while certain
Departments are being sequentially carpeted. In late November please
expect that you will be able to check your materials out at other Public
Desks while the Circulation Desk area is being carpeted! And for a
stunning preview of what awaits you (albeit the color scheme and
furnishings will still be a surprise) browse through the newly finished
Fine Arts area and stop by at Aesops Tables for a steaming cup of
hot chocolate, coffee, or tea!
